THE PINESIDE STORY
Pineside Services started from a phone conversation with a friend while walking my dog Smokey one fall evening. There was becoming a glaring need for an on-site engraver in the Joliet area, and though I did not have any training specific to monument engraving, I have a background in art, design, and sculpture. So after months of research and planning, phone calls, emails, trial and error, and a few headaches; Pineside Services was officially founded in January of 2020.
LOCATIONS SERVED
Pineside Services is based in Joliet, IL and offers on-site engraving throughout Will, Grundy, and Kendall Counties. We currently serve cemeteries in Joliet, Lockport, Manhattan, Lemont, Channahon, Minooka, Elwood, and Frankfort, and are looking to expand. If you are outside of our region, please contact us, and we will make reasonable efforts to accommodate you.
MEET THE ENGRAVER
My Name is Rick. I'm Pineside Service's On-Site Monument Engraver. My design and sculpture experience goes back to the early 2000's when I attended undergrad at the University of St. Francis, and continued while I was completing my Master of Fine Arts at UW-Milwaukee. I've been engraving granite gravestones since 2019. My portfolio includes traditional lettering, panels, double process lettering, images and designs, frosting, temporary monuments, pet markers, and much more.
